Headquarters will be set up on a natural site covered with snow.
The Raid « Head and legs » is a team challenge.
The goal for each team is to find the location of different checkpoints spread in the area.
In this way, each team is divided in two groups:

"Technical and strategy group" called "the head":
From the headquarters : the persons from this group have to discover the location of the checkpoints analysing maps, plans, photo indications, and then transmit those by radio spot to the « ground » group.

"Ground group", called "the legs":
Those are the sporting persons of the team: they have to join as much checkpoints as possible on the field, with the information given by radio communication from « the head ».

On each checkpoint, the group in the field will discover instructions to get more points, headed to another checkpoint located further or higher (Bonus Checkpoints).

Handling effort, timing and communication is determining.

To join the different checkpoints, the participants will use:

- Snowshoes
- Ski
- Ski mountaineering
